The 2022 Summer Session will be held at Brock University.
In accordance with the policies of all three universities, students who are participating in the in-person activities on campus are required to be vaccinated unless they have applied for and have been granted exemptions on medical or other protected grounds from Brock University. Proof of vaccination will be required. For more information about Brock Universities Covid policies and protocols click here https://brocku.ca/coronavirus/covid-19-vaccination/ or here https://brocku.ca/coronavirus
Summer Sessions: Monday July 4, 2022 – Wednesday July 27, 2022. Classes will be Monday – Friday 9am – 1pm
DS1 & DS2 Wrap up: Wednesday, July 27, 2022 (lunch)
Joint PhD Students from the 2020 cohort are invited to participate in a 3-day writing workshop at Brock University on July 4, 5, 6, 2022. Information about on-campus accommodations will be updated below by the first week of May (2022). Other information will be emailed to you.
This will allow them to travel in St. Catharines and http://www.yourbus.com/Thorold. I would recommend this pass if they are living in the St. Catharines or Thorold area as this will allow them to get to campus, local mall, movie theatre and downtown St. Catharines. In particular, if they are planning on using it as their main method of transportation, the 31 Day Pass would be of most value.
There is NO on-campus childcare. There is on-campus day camps. You can find the 2022 Camp Guide online now and registration will open April 1 at 7:00 am.
Brock University currently has a vaccine and mask mandate in place. All those over the age of 12 must show proof of vaccination to attend camps and masks must be worn indoors at all times.
We are using a new registration system (ActiveNet) and recommend you create a profile and take some time to find your camp selections prior to April 1.
Camp will run from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. each day. You are welcome to drop off after 8:30 a.m. and campers must be picked up by 4:30 p.m. We will not have extended care this year.
Large gatherings will be limited and therefore we are not offering hot lunches in our dining halls.
Camps will operate from July 4 to July 29 and pause in August while Brock hosts the Canada Summer Games. We will resume camps from August 22 to September 2.
During the games, there will be limited off-campus camps such as golf, rowing, and camps at Marilyn I Walker School of Fine and Performing Arts.
We LOVE camp and can’t wait to welcome you back to our beautiful campus very soon. If you have any questions, please reach out to the camp manager, Michelle Leone and the camp team at firstname.lastname@example.org or 905-688-5550 x3120.
